Learn how to embroider!
This embroidery class teaches you hand and machine embroidery techniques.
Our fashion designer, with a degree in Embroidered Arts, will teach you different embroidery stitches to personalize your fabric (blanket stitch, chain stitch, running stitch, back stitch, stem stitch,...)
She will tell you how to combine traditional hand stitches with machine stitches. She will give you suggestions for creating designs and inventing projects.
You will work on stretched fabric, your creative base. During every session, our designer will teach you new embroidery stitches and invite you to create trendy embroidery pieces.
You will embroider 3 to 4 designs to make a decorative garland (see photo on the side). Learn the triple blanket stitch and the couching stitch . We suggest assembling the designs in a decorative garland. You will finish at home with material provided during the workshop by following the instructions included in the reference post card that will be given to you.
Leave with your garland of hand and machine embroidered designs.
If you would like to continue after the discovery workshop :
Come to our coffee-stitch in Paris once a month to meet with other embroidery enthusiasts, to ask questions and advance in your projects. Come for a cup of coffee or tea in a private area !
